Louisiana starts requiring IDs to access porn on the positive internet

Again, they don't RETAIN your ID. They look at it to verify your name and only retain your name. These sites retain whatever credentials you use for age verification.
I am stuck in the middle on this one,, we need to restrict children from porn but how do we do that??

I remember when sites required verification by using a credit card.
And as we learned from Soupy Sales, kids can go through their parents pocket books and wallets.

If there is no law to produce ID why would there be a law against using a fake one? You really are an idiot.
because fraud is illegal,,

I have been through this with our local hy=vee,,
I am 58 with a full gray beard and hair and they had a policy to id everyone regardless,,
this little fat bitch behind the counter tried to tell me the law says we are required to ID so I went and read the law and confronted the manager, she confirmed as I claimed that the law doesnt require an ID so they change theor policy

its based on the disgression of the seller,,

so in reality it is you thats the real idiot,,

Ex: BlockerX is a porn blocker app that blocks adult content on your android device. In addition, it can also block gambling apps, gaming, dating and limit social media apps. It will help you in improving your productivity, focus, and relationships.

Because you have to be 18 or 21 to make certain purchases, in many states they put on drivers licenses "this person is under 18 until ...." Or "this person is under 21 until ...." So they only need glance at the drivers license to see the face matches, and it doesn't say the person is underage,. They don't have to calculate the persons age.

Also, most states have a statute about if you look older you don't get ID'd to buy alcohol. LA is one of them. If you look over 30 no ID required. And then they just quickly check your age anyway and hand it back. These porn sites can keep a digital footprint of all of your personal ID every time you visit. You have no control over what they do with your ID. When you hand it to a clerk, you do.

You'd think with all of these instances of ID theft you righties would be against porn sites gathering your personal information for no good reason. If I'm 75 I should not have to present ID to strangers on the internet to show that I'm at least 18. If I buy wine at 75 the clerk won't even ID me. They can see I'm old enough, and I can buy in cash. No tracing me.

There is NO state that doesn't have to verify ID before you purchase. The law might not say YOU MUST GET ID but they still must get ID because the drinking age is 21.

My state does not have a law REQUIRING you to ask for ID, but we have stings all the time of college kids trying to buy it at 20 to catch people who don't ask for ID. So everyone does.

I still remember a couple of summers ago, or maybe it was last summer.

Three little shits around 10 or so were hanging out at the big boulder in the yard and one of em had a mobile phone. He did that voice activated search and said ''pictures of nekid girls'' and then they all started giggling.

I yelled over at em ''I'm telling your mom'' and they scattered. lolol.

I didn't really tell their mom. Shit. She's the one who turned em loose with the device, it's basically a babysitter.

you may want to read up on those laws,, here we have the same signs here that seem to be supported by law but in reality are only store policy,,

if lefties werent a bunch of pedophiles that use children for pleasure this wouldnt be an issue,,

Anyway. This ''show us your ID to access a web site'' nonsense has always been a goal of authoritarians.

The ''it's for the childrens'' routine is almost universally the sob story they invoke, no matter what brand of authoritarianism they're trying to get written into law.

It's always for the childrens...

nope,,

in most states you arent even required to have an id,,

and you posted the missouri one that proved it isnt required,,

Is it a clear violation of right-to-privacy laws set forth in the constitution to require ID to
buy alcohol or tobacco?

If I buy wine at 75 the clerk won't even ID me. They can see I'm old enough, and I can buy in cash. No tracing me. Even if they do, they glance at your age to see if you're old enough and had it back. But these porn sites force everyone to disclose their personal information even if they are almost 80 and can hold onto that information, sell it to others, whatever they want, and you have no way of stopping it or tracing it.

You'd think with all the ID theft going on you'd be against forcing adults to give their personal information over to strangers on the internet.

But I guess "for the children" excludes any rights we may have as citizens.
