There would be a small gain in increasing the total number of mass shootings. Reaching a thousand this year would have psychological impact on the pro-gun side.

Soon or later the shooter problem is going to come home to their houses and families.

It's not like as if a person can walk the streets of even the small town anymore, and feel safe without his own gun strapped to his hip.
