Malmo, Sweden.....gun violence and murder increasing.....

If you take AMerican gun murder number of 10.235 in 2019....and multiply it by 81

you get 829,035 gun murders.

Why multiply by 81.....because that is the number of years since 1939...when the German socialist began to mass murder unarmed Europeans....

The German socialists murdered 12 million innocent men, women and children...divided by that same number 81 you get on average 148,148 innocent men, women and children murdered per year.........

Keep in mind....in America, 70-80% of gun murder victims are criminals murdered by other criminals.....leaving about 2,000 actual innocent people murdered by guns each year......but....

Of those 2,000, the majority of those victims are friends or family of actual criminals, caught in the gun fire between their criminal relations and other criminals....

Meanwhile...in America........

We have over 600 million guns in private hands.....over 19.4 million AMericans can legally carry guns in public for self defense......

Americans use those gun 1.1 million times a year to American lives from rape, robbery and murder.....

Also....more guns does not mean more crime.....

Over the last 27 years, we went from 200 million guns in private hands in the 1990s and 4.7 million people carrying guns for self defense in 1997...to close to 400-600 million guns in private hands and over 19.4 million people carrying guns for self defense in 2019...guess what happened...

Gun Homicide Rate Down 49% Since 1993 Peak; Public Unaware

Compared with 1993, the peak of U.S. gun homicides, the firearm homicide rate was 49% lower in 2010, and there were fewer deaths, even though the nation’s population grew. The victimization rate for other violent crimes with a firearm—assaults, robberies and sex crimes—was 75% lower in 2011 than in 1993. Violent non-fatal crime victimization overall (with or without a firearm) also is down markedly (72%) over two decades.
Your post is just gibberish. Bringing up Nazis is pure stupidity.
You have misread the report slightly. There were 124 deaths overall but only 48 involved guns. It rather suggests that Sweden is a very safe place to live, as is the rest of Western Europe.
NB - This clown always posts a load of pro gun nonsense when there have been a few massacres in the US. IE -every week.

What you don't understand? Violent crime in sweden is increasing...as it is in all the nations of Europe....your decades of low levels of violent crime are over....the violence, created primarily by immigrant gangs trying to take over the drug territories in these countries.....are not afraid of European police, and they are more than willing to escalate violence to get money and power........

Listen to me when I tell you this.....

Europe is at the point the United States was at entering the mid 1960s.....the gangs in the U.S. in the 1960s began to escalate violence...which led to the increadibly violent 1970s and 80s here......

Europe is now entering the 1960s era of violence that we ended in the 1990s.....

Listen, either you care about the 20,000 or so who die from gun violence every year or your don't. If everyone was a responsible gun owner or even if we had proportional rates of gun violence equal to Sweden, the UK or Canada, I doubt we would ever be having this discussion. But we don't. Many of my family members own guns. They are all law abiding. That doesn't mean I don't care about the deaths due to gun violence. The question is do we want to live in a society that has inured itself to such violence. The answer for many is yes. At least for now. That answer will one day change as more and more people get sick of all this death on a daily basis.

And there you go,

1) repeating the lie about the deaths by omitting the actual numbers, which I gave, for suicide vs gun murder.

2) after ignoring the actual numbers and their cause, you pull emotions out of your ass because you have to cover for the lies you just told....

Gun suicide is not a gun issue it is a mental health issue.....and by focusing on guns, and not mental health, you don't care about people dying, you just care about using their deaths to get guns banned...

Fact Check, Gun Control and Suicide

There is no relation between suicide rate and gun ownership rates around the world.

According to the 2016 World Health Statistics report, (2) suicide rates in the four countries cited as having restrictive gun control laws have suicide rates that are comparable to that in the U. S.: Australia, 11.6, Canada, 11.4, France, 15.8, UK, 7.0, and USA 13.7 suicides/100,000. By comparison, Japan has among the highest suicide rates in the world, 23.1/100,000, but gun ownership is extremely rare, 0.6 guns/100 people.
Suicide is a mental health issue. If guns are not available other means are used. Poisoning, in fact, is the most common method of suicide for U. S. females according to the Washington Post (34 % of suicides), and suffocation the second most common method for males (27%).
Secondly, gun ownership rates in France and Canada are not low, as is implied in the Post article. The rate of gun ownership in the U. S. is indeed high at 88.8 guns/100 residents, but gun ownership rates are also among the world’s highest in the other countries cited. Gun ownership rates in these countries are are as follows: Australia, 15, Canada, 30.8, France, 31.2, and UK 6.2 per 100 residents. (3,4) Gun ownership rates in Saudia Arabia are comparable to that in Canada and France, with 37.8 guns per 100 Saudi residents, yet the lowest suicide rate in the world is in Saudia Arabia (0.3 suicides per 100,000).
Third, recent statistics in the state of Florida show that nearly one third of the guns used in suicides are obtained illegally, putting these firearm deaths beyond control through gun laws.(5)

Fourth, the primary factors affecting suicide rates are personal stresses, cultural, economic, religious factors and demographics. According to the WHO statistics, the highest rates of suicide in the world are in the Republic of Korea, with 36.8 suicides per 100,000, but India, Japan, Russia, and Hungary all have rates above 20 per 100,000; roughly twice as high as the U.S. and the four countries that are the basis for the Post’s calculation that gun control would reduce U.S. suicide rates by 20 to 38 percent. Lebanon, Oman, and Iraq all have suicide rates below 1.1 per 100,000 people--less than 1/10 the suicide rate in the U. S., and Afghanistan, Algeria, Jamaica, Haiti, and Egypt have low suicide rates that are below 4 per 100,000 in contrast to 13.7 suicides/100,000 in the U. S.

So normal people who own guns do not cause gun crime or increased gun crime.

You don't want to face the fact that our gun crime rate is completely driven by the policies of the democrat party....policies that allow violent, known, repeat gun offenders to be released over and over again to commit over 95% of our gun crime in this country.

If we stopped the democrat party judges, prosecutors and politicians from releasing known, violent, repeat gun offenders......who have long histories of crime and violence....we would not have democrat party controlled cities with gun crime...

But you want guns banned.....and confiscated......

Wrong.
Gun regulation in Sweden is much LOWER than in the US, where there are actually tens of thousands of gun laws.
Sweden actually has very few gun laws, and there are lots of exceptions.

{...
Besides hunting, another common reason for gun ownership in Sweden is collecting. The gun collector must have a clearly stated interest and may begin another collection if he or she has collected for several years and has shown a great interest in gun history. A collection of guns that can be of criminal interest, such as pistols or submachine guns, will lead the police to insist on a very high safety level on the storing of such guns (including security windows and vault doors). Gun ownership may also be granted for reasons of sentimental value or as decoration.
...}

Anyone in Sweden can have a machine gun by just saying they want to collect them.
All they have to do is say they have a secure place for it.

You aren't quoting statistics.....you pulled that number out of your ass....I quoted actual statistics from the FBI and the CDC.

2020 saw increases in gun violence because the democrat party attacked the police at the local and federal level, you idiot.....

And I showed you that gun murder fell 49%, gun crime fell 75%, and violent crime fell 72%........for 27 years up to 2020....while we increased our gun ownership to over 600 million guns with over 19.4 million Americans carrying guns in public for self defense...

Then, you and the democrat party went after the police....you burned and looted our cities for 7 months as democrat mayors told the police to stand down, and your brown shirts in blm and antifa murdered 30 Americans...as democrat party politicians and celebrities praised the brown shirts and actually bailed them out of jail......and then went on to attack the police and called for them to be disbanded and defunded...

That is false.
The highest gun violence in the US was during Prohibition.
It was about 3 times higher then as compared to now.

How many gun massacres have they had in Sweden in the last three weeks?

According to your article Sweden had 124 gun deaths last year. That is truly tragic.

The USA had nearly 20,000. I am sure you are equally outraged.
In Sweden the gun violence is mostly gang-on-gang and not of the random nutjob going cray-cray kind of character.

He lied twice with his statistics.......he is not an honest human being, he hates guns and will lie and do whatever is necessary to get them banned and confiscated...

See my post #9 to see how he lied.....

That being said......

of the 10,235 gun murders in the U.S. in 2019 (FBI homicide table 8)......70-80% of the victims are criminals murdered by other criminals.

Of the remainder of murders, the vast majority are friends and family of criminals caught in the crossfire of criminals they know ........

The number he used for gun deaths? He doesn't accurately show how many deaths are suicides....

In 2019, there were 23,941 gun suicides....vs 10,235 gun murders

Meanwhile......Americans use their legal guns 1.1 million times a year to stop rapes, robberies and murders...according to research by the CDC.....the Department of Justice also did research into gun self defense...their research showed 1.5 million times a year....

Also.......

And it was against the law back then to use guns to murder people......as it is now.......yet for some reason, criminals don't obey that law.

The actual statistics show that gun violence is incredibly low compared to earlier periods, like during Prohibition.
Gun control obviously is not a solution at all, since it has no effect on criminals getting guns in any way.

And gun control is inherently in conflict with the whole fundamental principles of a democratic republic, which requires not just equality, but all liberties to be unfettered unless they can be proven to harm others.
So if you want to ban weapons, then start with the real thread and danger, which is armed mercenaries like police and the military.

I am an extreme leftist, but no leftist can possibly support gun control, which illegally ends the equality and individual rights of the majority of the citizens.
If you want to do gun control in a democratic republic, you would legally have to start with those who harm others the most with weapons, the mercenary police and the military.
Only after you have disarmed the people with a history of abuse, could you then begin general gun control on ordinary people.
Anyone who thinks government is the "good guys", is not one who believes in a democratic republic, but instead believes in a dictatorship of the elite.

Do we want to live in a society where one political party, the democrat party, keeps releasing violent monsters from jail and prison.....the very monsters responsible for over 95% of our gun crime and murder?

In December 2020, roughly 20 New York legislators pushed for a package they dubbed “Justice Roadmap 2021,” which included the so-called “Elder Parole Bill,” which would require that “incarcerated New Yorkers over age 55 who have served 15 or more consecutive years be considered for parole regardless of their crime or sentence.”

That same month, it was reported that “New York City has released almost all its inmates arrested on gun charges this year, which police say has led to the city’s soaring rates of gun crime.”

It turns out that policies have consequences. Specifically, New York’s strategy of releasing violent offenders has violent consequences.
-------
The Daily Wire reported on March 31 that a man arrested for a brutal attack against an Asian woman in Manhattan “was reportedly out on parole for stabbing his own mother to death in 2002.”

“Elliot was charged with murder in 2002 for stabbing his mother three times in the chest with a kitchen knife. The attack occurred in front of Elliot’s 5-year-old sister, sources told [the New York Post]. His mother died two days later,” the report continued.

“Elliot was convicted of murder and sentenced to 15 years-to-life in prison. He was twice denied parole but was released on a lifetime parole in 2019,” The Daily Wire added.
--------
Just days ago, the New York Post reported that “[a] knife-wielding man on parole for attempted murder randomly attacked a Hassidic couple walking with their 1-year-old in Lower Manhattan on Wednesday — slashing all three family members, cops and police sources said.”

“The man was released from jail last month. He spent several years behind bars after pleading guilty to attempted murder tied to a violent August 2011 robbery on the Upper East Side, according to the sources,” the New York Post added.
------------

In February 2021, the New York Post reported that “[a] parolee allegedly dragged a woman into the bushes in Prospect Park and tried to sexually assault the 33-year-old — but she fought him off and he was soon arrested thanks to a witness who followed him and called 911.”

“Police quickly caught up with the man, who cops identified as Carlis Clarke, after finding video surveillance of him leaving the building. He was charged with criminal sexual act, robbery, and unlawful imprisonment, according to the NYPD,” the New York Post continued.

Clarke was released from prison just days earlier, having served 16 months of a two-year sentence for a weapons conviction, according to prison records.

Those stories above are not rare examples....they are the policies of the democrat party.........in each case, you have violent monsters released from jail, and prison because the democrat party doesn't care about the consequences of releasing these monsters into the general public.

And, as you see in the stories....the democrat party bitches about guns....then continues to release violent gun offenders.......offenders with long histories of gun crime and violence.......

Then, they blame normal people who own guns for self defense and want to take their guns away from them.

So sell your bullshit to joe biden voters....they are the ones stupid enough to buy your crap.........the democrat party releases violent gun criminals...that is the reason our gun crime is so high in democrat party controlled cities.....

Leave normal gun owners out of this...

Gun deaths are awful, so we should do something about them.
That can't be more gun control, registration, background checks on legal purchases, etc., because criminals intent on murder, are never going to go through the normal legal purchase mechanisms.
So then the way to end gun deaths is to reduce crime.
And that is easy.
The biggest way is to end the War on Drugs, so then there won't be any drug dealers selling illegal gun.
Then we need to have public health care, so that dangerous people get help or off the streets.
Problem solved.
