Man lives without food or water for 70 years

Fascinating if true. This may potentially be evidence of a higher 'spiritual connection', and that science isn't even totally reliable about things as taken for granted as dietary necessities.

It makes me wonder if in human's original "state of nature" (as described of the Garden of Eden) people could actually live indefinitely without consuming.

Simply to maintain a 98.6 degree body tempurature the human body burns calories. If those calories don't come from food they come from body tissues, hence people that don't eat lose weight rapidly because the body burns the calories stored in fat and muscle.

That any living person today would even consider the laws of physics can ever be suspended is the real mystery.
