we need to be vigilant about gun violence and study every incident. this incident highlights the importance of owning guns for self-defense, which i wanted to do being a 2nd amendment guy.

i thought that goes without saying the purpose of the thread: to highlight the role of guns in self-protection

This kind of thing --- home invasion murders --- happen ALL THE TIME in the bad area in my county, and it's always blacks and drugs. Somebody didn't pay for the drugs, skimmed money, whatever.

As long as it stays over there, I don't care. If it comes over here, we're well-armed.
