Now I'm not saying I would do anything this brash, or be this unconcerned about my life. I think I understand how this guy feels though :abgg2q.jpg:. He's probably been through too much shyte to give a damn at this point.

A St. Louis man who’s obviously seen a few things was caught on camera looking completely unphased as an armed thief held up the bar he was drinking in.

At one point, the man can be seen lighting up a cigarette — keeping his cool the entire time and refusing to get up from his chair — while the suspect points his heavily modified pistol at him. He even refuses to give up his cellphone when ordered by the crook.

“He just was very adamant about it like, ‘I’m not playing your game,'” said bartender Dustin Krueger, who spoke to KMOV4 and other local outlets on Thursday.

Everyone else in the bar during the Wednesday night incident can be seen hitting the deck and looking scared for their lives as the robbery suspect waves his gun at them and takes their belongings. But not the bespectacled “badass,” as some people were describing him on social media.

Any cop can tell you ... criminals are stupid. Insanely stupid. Weapons-grade stupid.

They do stupid things all the time and just when you've seen the most stupid thing you can ever imagine, the next criminal goes and tops him.

I'd love to know what he was saying to the robber.

Laugh if you want. He was probably arrested for smoking in the business. I think that is a Death Penalty offense anymore.

This is quite true, for a number of reasons. In this case though, who was more stupid, the stupid crook or the unconcerned patron?

I suppose as long as he doesn't get shot, the customer took a stance. If he or someone else gets shot though, we are all looking at this differently.

This iphone belongs to Mr. Wallace.

Please steal my bar tab.

The dude smoking knows:
1) pros don't use rifles to rob a bar. Rifles are too easy to grab. The patrons had no balls and the smoker had no f*cks left to bother trying.
2) The crook was there to rob the bar, not kill people, so why would he escalate the situation by killing a guy who was not in his way of robbing the bar?
3) It is plasusible the smoker is dying of lung cancer, so what would he care if he got shot, lol.

The smoker has balls and brains, a dangerous combination these days.

If he or someone else gets shot though, we are all looking at this differently.

Not in my book, this guy is the epitome of what I would hope American men would want to be like.

Woody Harrelsons father, Charles, was a gambler and hitman, and a lot of people know that.

I heard a story about him when I lived in Texas that I believe is true and this cigarette man reminded me of it so I thought I would share it.

Charles was playing a poker game near Houston one night and there were some serious players there playing.

So apparently some thugs got word of it and went in to rob the place. They told everyone to hand over their cash, and Charles did not comply. When a gunman told Charles to put his money in the bag, Charles calmly said, "My Name is Charles Harrelson. Ask around about me before you rob me."

The confused robber backed down and a few days later Charles Harrelson received a letter of apology from the robber who confronted him.

This 'Epic Smoking Man' might also get just such a letter, which also might explain why no one has yet heard of his name, lol.

That's an entirely different approach than the legend Doyle Brunson took, in a story he has shared many times with a laugh (easy to laugh now looking back I guess).. The story went something along these lines.

He was playing in an illegal gambling establishment back in the '70s, and some guys came in to rob the place. They yelled at Doyle, "who is running this place?" Doyle responded, "I don't know". The guy yelled again at him, "who in the hell is running this game"? Again, Doyle played stupid, "I'm just new here, I don't know who runs it".

The guy lifts his shotgun and points it at Doyle, "I'm going to ask you one more time..." Doyle responds quickly, "they guy right there in the blue shirt and cowboy hat". :21:
