The closest thing to a purely innocent person that Mueller and his team went after was Flynn. He had been cleared already. According to the FBI his statement wasn't 100% accurate, but the things he got wrong were minor and didn't change anything.

Why is Mueller going after people that the government didn't care about before? Because they view Trump as inferior to them and the ends justify the means.

All these welfare queens (politicians and bureaucrats) view most of the population as inferior.
