Mark Judge, Key Witness To Alleged Brett Kavanaugh Assault, Refuses To Testify

I agree with what you say old BUT isn't the one attempted rape ,if true ,enough to keep him away from the SC or any other big job in politics?

He was a minor at the time. There's a reason we give minors a break. Unless you're advocating crimes committed as a child should have life long legal consequences, no to your question.

There's no indication that he's done anything remotely like that since the alleged incident. They leads me to believe that either he didn't do it or he learned from the experience and grew up.
So sexual assault is just a "youthful indiscretion"

Ummm...no.

Of course not, but there's a reason we have juvenile criminal records separate from adult criminal records. And, as we saw with Bubba Clinton, sexual predators don't just do it once as a teenager, then never again, especially if they get away with it the first time. Kavenaugh's been about as model a citizen as anyone could hope for in his adult life, so it's ever more doubtful he did what he's accused of doing, and even if he had and been convicted of assault, he'd have still gotten a clean record when he became an adult.

If she refuses to testify, they should hold the vote immediately. She doesn't get to dictate the timing or to whom or under what circumstances she'll testify.
Trump has a long list of women who’ve complained about him. If you voted for him you’ll vote for kav

No ordinary people vote for SC justices. They have no direct say in the matter, so your statement is kind of stupid.

The vote could be held today, but they're giving her a chance to appear and tell her story. If she doesn't, or if she doesn't make a strong case, they should hold the vote the next day.
I agree Hold the vote and lets get another Thomas on the court

what is she hiding?

a professor at a marginal college apparently has a veto over a Supreme Court nominee

More than 200 graduates from the same high school as Christine Blasey Ford, the professor who has alleged that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh assaulted her at a party three decades ago, have written an open letter supporting her.

The letter, written by students from the prestigious Holton-Arms School In Maryland and first reported by HuffPost, comes as a growing number of senators from both sides of the aisle have called on Ford to testify publicly about her claim that Kavanaugh and a friend assaulted her in the early 1980s.

It reads:

We are alumnae of Holton-Arms School, and we are writing in support of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, a fellow Holton graduate.

We believe Dr. Blasey Ford and are grateful that she came forward to tell her story. It demands a thorough and independent investigation before the Senate can reasonably vote on Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to a lifetime seat on the nation’s highest court.

Dr. Blasey Ford’s experience is all too consistent with stories we heard and lived while attending Holton. Many of us are survivors ourselves.

Holton’s motto teaches students to “find a way or make one.” We dream of making a world where women are free from harassment, assault and sexual violence. We hold deep gratitude to Dr. Blasey Ford for bravely stepping forward and bringing us closer to that world we all seek.

The letter concludes by saying it has already been signed by “200+” Holton Arms alumnae stretching from 1968 through the present day.

Hundreds of Women From Christine Blasey Ford's High School Sign Letter Supporting Her

More than 200. Dr. Ford seems to have a high level of credibility and support.

200? Is that supposed to be impressive? 59% of Americans polled by CNN say Kavanaugh is innocent until proven guilty and gets their benefit of the doubt.
The interesting thing about that letter is that people who went to that school recognised the situation that the victim described. Perhaps that was the prevailing culture in those days.

Why doesn't Kavenaugh insist on being interviewed by the FBI? Because it is against the law to lie to the FBI?

Why won't this other friend of his, Mark Judge, who was in the room, come before congress or be interviewed by our FBI? Because it's a felony to lie before our Investigators at the FBI?

She, has no reason to lie and put another person in the room with this supposed lie....

I think it happened.... he and his co-conspirator friend, might have been a drunk as a skunk 17 year old, and never did anything like that again, but what he did that night, emotionally scarred Doctor Ford...

She has the opportunity to tell her story under oath. Will she take it?

On what the fuck basis would the FBI "interrogate" or "subpoena" her?

Have any clue what you're even talking about?

nope, she won't go under oath.

/----/ Ford is asking for conditions like only Senators who believe her can ask her questions.

Trial by popularity contest? The Democrats act as if the USA is a high school. I would agree the maturity
level of many left leaning individuals is sophomoric, hmm they may be right for Democrats.
You miss out the fact that the Republicans started the popularity contest by printing a letter from 65 of his supporters. Now down to two.
Its a bit hypocritical to criticise the victim for responding to that.

No. You missed out on the fact that even though she said in her letter that she wanted nobody to see it, some liberal or Democrat likely made a copy of it and leaked it o the press.

If Ford is being harangued and her life is going to hell over this, it's only because of the party who supposedly stands for and respects women.

The disruption they've caused in her life is far worse than someone supposedly trying to have sex with her 30-something years ago.
Everything demonrats touch turns to crapola.

That it does. They seem to have the reverse Midas touch. :laughing0301:

That's probably because everyone who went to that school participated in that situation. It wasn't such a big deal back then, as it is now.

Hell, the famous rocker Jerry Lee Lewis married his second cousin when she was only 13. That Muslim goober Muhammad married a 9 year old and had sex with her, but everyone seems to think that Islam is the cat's meow.

Aww...how cute. They found 200 Democrat shills from the high school and they all blindly support the Dem shill even though none of them knows what happened, proving they are all just a bunch of Dem shills.

Yes, it is cute - and I hear it's over 1,000 now. Plus, they are holding a candlelight vigil in support of Dr. Ford tonight in Palo Alto where she lives and teaches.

And I bet that most of them can't tell you any facts that contradict her current story. I bet that most of them don't know that she can't even remember the year, much less the month, when this event supposedly happened, and that the story that she told her therapist contradicts her current story on key points.

I'd love to see the credentials of those 200, and proof that they went to the same school.

I can say that I have the physique of Arnold Schwarzenegger, the money of Carlos Slim, and the charm of Prince William, but I'd be lying just like most of those women are.

Probably because the same thing has happened to many of them . When you think about it, it's kind of the same reason a bunch of pigs support Kavanaugh in this...they also tried to date rape women, then had to hear about it later....

Wow! Kavanaugh also tried to have sex with those 200 other women?

What a man! Bill Clinton has nothing on him.
