Because - for the edification of every fucking moron who misunderstood this comment and jumped to conclusions - the old-timer residents of Allston are known (to those not completely ignorant of the area and the subject) to have long complained about the noise and disruption in the neighborhood caused by college students. Any additional disruption would be less than welcome by them.

Illegal aliens shouldn't be in the area (or anywhere in the US) in the first place, of course.

If someone is in the US legally awaiting an asylum hearing and a legal US citizen wants to invite them into their home, that is their business of course.
