Math teacher escorted out by police, set to be fired for opposing planned parenthood

School districts have school boards. For any group to make a presentation in a classroom would need approval. Parents and taxpayers can attend any board meeting and voice their views.

This teacher decided that his views trump the district's, the board and ultimately the parents and taxpayers. He has every right to his views. But he can't stop someone from making a presentation.

Okay I see where your coming from, a religous group wouldn't have a chance to get in, but it's okay to teach kids our kids abortion isn't killing a living baby.

I am sure that is not what they teach or even talk about. But carry on. Planned Parenthood is the BEST way of preventing abortions. Birth control and education can prevent a girl from putting herself in that position. Why don't you think instead of emoting?

Hey i'm with you on educating young people on sex, but planned parent hood is mainly known for abortions, that would be like bringing phillip morris in the prevent them from smoking.

They are only "mainly known" for abortion to the people who are agressively anti-abortion. What they are known for by the bulk of their clients is providing information about birth control and birth control to young women all over the country. Their goal is to help young people make informed decisions, to use protection not only from pregnancy but also from STDs. To help young people PLAN for when they want a child instead of it happening because they didn't know how to prevent it.

Then why did liberals paraded poor ole miss fluke around? I mean she couldn't afford birth control. Why didn't she just go to planned parenthood? Kinda proves the republican war on women wrong. Huh?

For pretty much the same reason you do. Except I believe that is a personal decision the woman should make. If a woman practices contraception, there is no need to have to face that decision. That is why the right's argument falls apart. If you are REALLY against abortion, why wouldn't you be a strong advocate for contraception?

I can say with confidence that liberals dislike abortion every bit as much as nutters do. I don't know a single person who wants the number of abortions to be increased. Zero abortions would be ideal.
