As far as I remember, US child protection standards are the highest in the world.
I think this is the reason why the US did not join the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Apparently, the convention stimulates adoption, which is the main loophole for child trafficking, this was especially evident in Ukraine.
In addition, Hungary is resisting EU pressure on the need to corrupt children under the guise of "education".
The US is still the safest country for kids, right?
