If you have Medicare it is a single payer Just because it does not cover 100% does not change that.Medfcare is single payer. I keep posting it & you keep being stupid. So, I'll ask again. Do you want Medicare-for-all as the system now works, or do you want full Single Payer, with no private health insurance?Medicare as it is now is single payer. We have those auxilliary plans.Ah, it appears you've learned a bit since yesterday. Good!
What the Dems (including Sanders) are pushing is real Single Payer. Getting rid of private insurance.
Now that you understand the difference, which way would you go?

Medicare today is not single payer, if you do not have a supplement you as the beneficiary are paying your hospitals deductibles and 20% under Part B and if you have supplement or Med Advantage it's still not single payer. What Bernie and Harris are proposing is not Medicare for All it is complete single payer because they do not want insurance companies involved what so ever.
A single payer is where one pays and Medicare today is not limited to one paying the full cost of their medical care then you throw in the Part B premium. What some of the dems are proposing is the govt pays 100% for everything and it won't work, cost too damn much money.
