I guess when she was working a an escort she never leaned the skills needed

Traditionally, it's the role of the first lady to accompany spouses of visiting foreign leaders around Washington. That often means a good deal of showcasing local museums, schools, monuments and gardens. It's essentially playing tour guide, but it's part of the role of representing the Administration and playing gracious hostess to very VIP out of town guests.

Melania Trump appears to be breaking with this particular tradition.
On two pre-scheduled Washington stops Friday, one to Gallaudet University and the other to attend a National Cherry Blossom Festival committee meeting at the Japanese embassy, the first lady of Japan, Akie Abe, was alone, without Mrs. Trump to guide her.

Mrs. Trump, who has decided to live in New York through the end of the school year with her and the President's son Barron, was on hand to greet the Abes Friday afternoon and flew with them and her husband aboard Air Force One to Palm Beach, Florida, for a weekend stay at Mar-a-Lago.
But Mrs. Abe's solo DC outings are nothing like her previous trips to the US capital city.
In 2015, Mrs. Abe joined Michelle Obama on a visit to a Great Falls, Virginia, elementary school, where the two women were cheered by students.

And in 2007, Laura Bush joined her husband, George W. Bush, and Prime Minister Abe, in greeting the couple during another trip to Washington, meeting them for tea at Blair House and then walking over to the White House for dinner.
The two women also went on a solo jaunt to tour Mount Vernon, keeping one another company during a walk through the estate's gardens.

It's not what she signed up for.

It's a mark of Trump's good character that he leaves her alone. :)

In the real world, the one liberals don't live in, Melania Trump was on the news with Mrs. Abe graciously showing her around.

The best thing about continually referring to Melania Trump as an escort is that it becomes a repeated defamation in the Trump v. Daily Mail case. It is proof that the allegations of the Daily Mail have been repeated. There is already a 150 million dollar claim against some poor blogger in Maryland that the court just upheld.

Keep spreading the news. The Trumps have bots scouring the internet for every repeat to bring into court against the Daily Mail.

What should Melania do with the 150 million when YOU help her win?

She thought all she had to do for the money was let Trump poke her with his tiny prick every once in a while. Being First Lady was not part of the deal.

Nevertheless, she is performing with exceptional grace and class. A far difference from the wookie we had masquerading as our nation's representative. I'm sure Mrs. Abe appreciated not being growled at by a barely civilized Yeti.

Seems she's not performing at all. She'll just stay in her tower, away from the rabble, until the next banquet. All the while hoping Trump's too tired to defile her at the end of the day.

They just passed their 12th anniversary. Congratualtions. That marriage has lasted longer than liberal marriages where Daddy decides he's a woman.

What gets me is Trump having to have his favorite daughter involved in everything he does. I like to see the POTUS go it alone. I think of leadership when I see that. Not feeling needy.

Melania Trump is a person with great class and dignity and she didn't want her hubby to run for the office he attained. I feel for her as the world she knew and loved before has now come to an end.

Been there. ;) My married life and world dramatically changed too when he became very political as his focus was then on being in power.

She's everything Liberals love unless she's the wife of Donald Trump. Yes she's an immigrant herself and has a lot to learn about being First Lady.
