LOS ANGELES — Lawyers for President Trump want porn actress Stormy Daniels to pay them $340,000 in legal bills they claim they earned successfully defending Trump against her frivolous defamation claim.

The attorneys are due in a Los Angeles federal courtroom Monday to make their case that they rang up big bills because of gamesmanship and aggressive tactics by attorney Michael Avenatti, who represents Daniels.

There is no way that the court will order her to pay anything close to this amount. And no, Avenatti's grandstanding did NOTHING to increase their costs. The courts will "tax the bill" and it will be substantially reduced.

This is a bullshit attempt to use the courts to extort money from Daniels. If Daniels is ordered to pay 1/10 of that amount, I'll be very surprised.

My bet is that you won't be surprised, you'll be shocked. She brought a meritless lawsuit against a sitting president and then she, and that sleazeball attorney attempted to profit from the publicity.

Then they (Avenatti and Daniels) expected to get away with their scam, scot free. No, no Dragonlady. not here in America. You may hate President Trump, in spite of all the great things he has done for our country, but that doesn't mean he's free game for anyone out to make a buck.

They didn't rule it was a "fake" lawsuit. They denied her claim. There's a difference. Trump could have defended the claim for a whole lot less money than he spent, and the excess will be on his nickel, not hers

"U.S. District Court Judge S. James Otero ruled in October that Trump’s statement was “rhetorical hyperbole” against a political adversary and was protected speech under the First Amendment. Trump is entitled to legal fees, Otero said."

Perhaps the reason Stormy Daniels recently accused her lawyer of filing a suit against Trump without her approval is because they lost and the judge ordered her to pay the President's legal bills...

While Mueller now faces his own law suit and charge of Prosecutorial Misconduct, he is hoping his luck holds out and does not turn 'Stormy'.
