go tell mommy and daddy it's wrong to break laws, and America is great, because in many places they'd be dead.
<sniff>
What if mommy and daddy respond that it's wronger to engage in broad-brush generalization fallacies?
So, they're not here illegally?
It was wrong of them to come here in violation of our democratically enacted laws.
Who says "they" did?
Their illegal status is the premise of the question. (unless you are quibbling about the possibility that they came legally and overstayed their visa?).
"They" do not have a status --- legal or otherwise. The OP never explained who the fuck he's talking about.
The only people who reasonable need to worry about being deported are illegals.
Oh fucking bullshit.
Even if we accepted that false premise it wouldn't tell us the backstory that was never filled in.
Must be convenient to just plug in your own circumstances to faceless nonentities.
Unfortunately it's also meaningless.
I went looking for how often that actually happens. I can't find any numbers on it, other than it is mostly used for former Nazi war criminals and have been used barely a hundred times for that since 1979.
M point stands. THe only people who reasonable need to worry about being deported are illegals.
