Midterm elections usually reflect the electorate's "buyers' remorse"....

With the way town halls' skirmishes are going over repealing the ACA and replacing it with huge tax cuts for the rich.....AND the drip-drip-drip reports of Trump's insane flip-flops, AND the current polling on just how "pleased" trump backers are (except for the morons on this forum) ..... these upcoming midterms should be .....well, interesting.

Soon sane republicans in congress are going to have to make an important decision regarding their own fate: Do they back this pathological liar in chief, or do they worry about their own sorry hides November 2018?

(the 30 second ads by democrats are being produced as we type away.....lol)

And yet we have had 3 elections that were supposed to show us that there was buyers remorse on Trump....in each one the democrats have lost......and then it is the next election that will show buyers remorse........keep going ....you may finally win one....

We've had zero, Future-Man. Check your calendar. First mid-term is a year and a half away.

No dumb shit....we have had 3 elections......each one was pointed out as "THE" election that would show that support for Trump was over.....and so far the democrats have lost all 3.......

No Dumbshit -- the first mid-term is not until 2018. Period. That's the first -- FIRST -- national election event after the Presidential one. Every time. Like it or lump it.

The 2016 mid term elections will regret: Why did we leave so many Democrats in their posts?

Let's fix that in 2018.

There was no mid-term election in 2016. By definition a mid-term is two years into a Presidential term.

I call it a re-balance rather than a buyer's remorse.

I agree its more of a re-balancing....BUT,given the piss poor performance of Trump and his Keystone Kops, "buyers' remorse" may here apply.

Republicans have nothing to worry about in November 2018. Only 8 of them are running for reelection

Another right wing moron chimes in.....Do you realize that in the SENATE a flip of 3 republican seats would make a difference?.....Do you realize that ALL House seats are up for reelection?

The house is safe and you have 3 times as many democrast as republican defending seats.

go screw yourself.

And if you look at the map you'll notice most of those Senate seats are blues (or reds) in safely blue (or red) states, and/or are incumbents who are already popular within that state. There won't be much shift there. The House is where the action is.

Democrats would need to retain all their Senate seats and gain a few GOP seats which is unlikely and will most likely fail to gain the House too...

A few extra red seats won't hurt.

I suspect the GOP will be at 53 when it is over.

With ANY other GOP president, I'd agree.....with Trump, it may surprise all of us (especially Trump, Ryan and McConnell.)

Well since Hillary won the popular vote, that means people will turn out against Dems in the midterm, amiright?

Plus, Qunnipiac showed that Trump doesn't even have a path to the White House!

Democrats can produce all they want.

They have no message to replace what is being done and Trump actually gives the appearance of doing something in an environment of cooperation.

Most people still remember that Obama would not work with his democratically controlled house and gave the appearance of not caring.

The press Trump is getting says something is going on.

So the idea that democrats are going to take back anything is ludicrous.

The midterms look good for the GOP right now and will look even better in a year.

Schumer will have fewer piss ants on his side and conservatives can only hope that Pelosi has enough embalming fluid in her to seek another term.

These assholes are not working for the people, but for the $$$ giants that fund their campaign..

Of course they are, if not for the them Obama would have spent 30 trillion dollars and forced young boys to wear dresses to school .

LWNJ's live in an alternate reality where Obama united the party!!

It's a big tent where every tranny, freak, and illegal alien is welcome!

Reality is, after 8 years of the effeminate prancing pansy Democrats have lost over 900 state legislature seats, 12 governors, 69 House seats, 13 Senate seats, the SCOTUS, and the WHITE HOUSE!!
