Doing a magazine change on a pistol simply requires bring your hands together since the magazine well is in your shooting hand. On an AR-15, you have to take your eyes off the target to line up the new magazine with the magazine well which is about six inches ahead of your shooting hand.Pistols can't kill as many people as fast as AR15s.
