Monty Python to Reunite for Stage Show | Variety

LONDON — The five surviving members of comedy troupe Monty Python are reuniting for a stage show, which will be the first time they have performed together as Monty Python in 15 years.

Terry Jones told the BBC Tuesday that he will be joined by John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Gilliam and Michael Palin.

“We’re getting together and putting on a show — it’s real,” Jones said. “I’m quite excited about it. I hope it makes us a lot of money. I hope to be able to pay off my mortgage!”

Tickets should sell out in seconds. :)

One of my favorite past times was smoking a couple doobies and watching Monty Python.

That's still one of my favorite past times... I have every episode on DVD.

I am somewhat conflicted by the news that they will be reuniting... I kind of like that they have not returned Monty Python save for the Aspen comedy festival a couple or so years back. I fear anything they do now will seem lackluster by comparison...
