More Liberal Logic

That's what Romney said about the 47%. I'll bet he wishes he'd never even thought it much less say it.

Well, actually that is not what he said. What he said was that getting their votes was not his job since they were not going to vote for him regardless. He never said they did not matter.

I am saying the KKK and CPUSA don't matter. Who they endorse, what their opinions are don't matter. They have no impact at all on government policies or politics. Perhaps you disagree. Do you care what the members of the KKK or CPUSA think?

Maobama's uncle Frank would be sad to know that. I guess it's a good thing he's not still around to hear it.

He was KKK?

I'm glad you brought that up. Because when Bush and his Congress were running up big deficits, it was supposed to be in a business "up" cycle--there was no recession. That was the time (supposedly) when the debt should have been repaid.

Bush had no excuse for deficits--except that he used the stimulative effect of federal deficit spending to cover for his anemic economic policies. It's possible that all of the economic growth during the Bush years was directly attributable to defict spending by the government.

Here's the magic formula--show fiscal restraint during periods of strong, growing economies, and spend spend spend during recessions. It's not rocket science, but it may as well be so to current Republicans.

The common denominator to debt in this country is tax cuts for the wealthy. Neither party has ever cut spending a dime but Reagan and the Bushes are famous for tax cutting. You Know.....the "Trickle Down" thing.

The common denominator to debt in this country is tax cuts for the wealthy.

Yet...America's rich pay a larger portion of the overall tax burden than in any other country.

Sorry if the truth doesn't fit your agenda. Sucks you be you I guess.

Bullshit. Anybody who takes ten minutes to actually look for some facts about the rates and debt knows that is horse shit:

sending our military to war based on lies is republican logic

continuing to lie about how we got into iraq is typical liberal lack of credibility. Congress authorized and funded the stupid iraq invasion. Both parties are responsible,.

That's bullshit and you know it. Iraq belonged to the Republicans lock, stock and barrel. They convinced America that it would cost less than 200 billion and last two months.

It was bullshit from beginning to end.

USMB Right wingers have been saying the KKK are Democrats for a long time now. They won't even listen to the KKK:

Pulaski, Tennessee - The Ku Klux Klan officially disbanded today claiming that the Republican Party has co-opted all of their ideas concerning race, immigration and religion and that there was no longer any need for their existence.

They were democrats. In the South, it was not until the last 40 years or so that a republican stood a chance of getting elected. Remember that Lincoln was a Republican. George Wallace, Lestor Maddox, etc., all democrats. So the KKK were certainly democrats as well.

I think the KKK is now primarily republican. However, I also think it is a serious mistake to take from that that the republican party in any way shares the ideals of the KKK. The KKK is a marginalized extremist group of no importance.

Oh poor, poor Melvy. Sorry again, but the changing marginal tax rates over time do NOT change the fact that today, America's rich pay a larger proportion of the overall debt than they ever have in the past and they pay more than in any other country, which negates your comment that "The common denominator to debt in this country is tax cuts for the wealthy".

Whatever cuts or increases against wealthy taxpayers have occurred over time, the fact remains, they pay more of the tax burden than they ever have and more than in any other country.

Throwing up another chart that doesn't support your statement won't help. Sorry.

plus when we had those high tax rates we also had thousands of tax deductions and exemptions, no one ever paid 90% during those years. But that claim is typical of dem/libs as they continue their insane lies and praise of their maxist messiah.
