U.S. District Court Judge James Boasberg for the District of Columbia sided with the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe. The judge wrote in his “91-page decision that the Corps did not adequately consider the impacts of an oil spill on the tribe’s fishing rights.”
It is the conservative position that the tens-of-thousands of jobs already, and to be created in the renewable energy industry do not adequately replace the few thousand jobs in the antiquated fossil fuel industry destroyed by modern technology. It is apparent those workers in the fossil fuel industry are typical conservatives, lacking the intelligence to be retrained so as to work in jobs based in 21st century businesses.
Also on the list of conservative complaints, renewable energy does not pollute sufficiently to be deemed acceptable. Their stand on this is, “The need for clean air and potable water to sustain life on this planet is a liberal hoax.”
In his public statement, Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Chairman Dave Archambault II said, “We applaud the courts for protecting our laws and regulations from undue political influence and will ask the court to shut down pipeline operations immediately.” Which prompted many conservatives to reiterate the racist saying, “The only good Indian, is a dead Indian.”
In addition to thanks from the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe to Judge Boasberg, liberals nationwide are encouraged by his intelligent and conscientious decision. And, after the events in Alexandria, VA, the Sioux Tribe and liberals are extremely concerned about the many anonymous death threats from cowardly conservatives the judge will be receiving during the next few weeks.
Here in the U.S., there are way too many guns in the hands of lunatics, but conservatives won’t have it any other way. So, Your Honor, just keep low.
