The Republicans spent decades telling their simple-minded minions that Social Security is an entitlement program that is a burden for all taxpayers. Conservatives now echo that GOP lie every day.
Understanding this to be true, conservatives should be thrilled with Der Gropenfürher’s middle class tax cut that will end the F.I.C.A. withholding from their paychecks. This windfall to the working class will effectively kill Social Security.
As a rule, conservatives believe they will be unaffected by government cuts to programs they personally find useful, because their beloved Republicans will only target liberals, minorities, and the other lazy people receiving benefits fraudulently. They believe as hard working conservatives, who have paid into Social Security, they are respected by the Republicans, therefore, their Social Security and Medicare benefits will continue uninterrupted.
During Der Gropenfürher’s presidential campaign, he promised his white, working class followers (suckers) that he would not touch their Social Security or Medicare, and he would never go back on his word to them, would he? (wink, wink)
“The American people overwhelmingly support Social Security because they appreciate that it provides working families with basic economic security when wages are lost as the result of death, disability, or old age. And it does so extremely efficiently, securely, fairly, and universally.” The majority of American people agree with the previous statement, but the vast majority of conservatives do not.
Despite the lies told by the Republicans and the conservatives, “Social Security is not a government handout. It is wage insurance that the American people earn, as part of their compensation, and, indeed, pay for with deductions from their pay.” Again, the majority of American people agree with the previous statement, but the vast majority of conservatives do not.
If Der Gropenfürher and the congressional Republicans succeed in their plan to bankrupt Social Security, it will be entertaining to watch the millions of conservatives, who depend on Social Security benefits for most or all of their income, try to blame Obama and the Democrats for their loss financial support.
We all remember the conservatives telling the world the homeless in America CHOOSE to live on the streets. It will also be entertaining to see if the conservatives enjoy their own choice to live in the streets and in tent cities. Will the conservatives retain their love for the GOP when their meager belongings are thrown into the trash during police raids to “clean up” the eyesores created by these conservatives who have joined the ranks of the homeless?
Let’s hear the conservatives cheer for Der Gropenfürher, and offer their prayers for congress to help him succeed with this "tax cut" for the middle class. Only good can come from it. (wink, wink)
