18 Gentle Reminders

This afternoon the President, who calls Chicago home, made a surprise visit to the White House press room to speak about the aftermath of the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman case.

Interestingly, he talked at length about statistics as they relate to shooting victims. Obviously we are very much interested in these sorts of statistics and wanted to remind the President that 18 male, black 17 year olds have been shot and killed in Chicago since the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman shooting incident.

It does appear the Obama has become the most divisive president in a long time. He has shown the moral integrity of Nixon and the competence of Carter.

But he has turned only about half of the country. He has on his side:

1) Blacks
2) Hispanics
3) Gays
4) Public Employees and their Unions
5) Liberals motivated by either guilt or jealousy, and
6) the mentally ill

This amounted to a majority on election day for the last two presidential elections, and that is a scary thought. And, it is true that this group is likely to grow, because the tendency is for the welfare folks and the public employees to increase under a socialist government.

But, the rest of the country is waking up to the fact that the American way is being turned into a modern day Karl Marx experiment. The next election will be one of the most important of our time and the last hope to stop "The Detroit Effect" from overwhelming the whole country.

A lot of good Americans are just waiting for the polls to open again...and a painful and failed episode in our history will be over.

Of the largest voting group, women, Obama won every major category except for married women of which he lost by 3-5 percentage points.
