Moral Absolutism In History

Moral absolutism was popular amongst ancient Greek philosophers such as Plato and Aristotle. It also largely shaped historical societies through the "divine right of kings."

The divine right of kings gave royalty political and religious right to rule as they were under the mandate of God. It also made the setting up and upholding of laws easier as rulers were subject only to the will of God, and not to the people over which they served.

This has carried over into the creation of laws and justice systems across the world, where the law must be upheld with no exceptions. This is seen in some Muslim countries, where Islamic revivalists are attempting to bring back Hudud punishments, which are thought to have been mandated by God.
Morals are based upon logic. God - among other "things" - IS logic; infinite logic.

you two are just obsessed ... the liar moses said to the gal the above - the exemplars were all four swingers and were not jews they believed as a&e for them to find their own self determination not to worship servitude and denial.

not the madeup moses 10 commandments used by christians, the desert religions to persecute and victimize the innocent ... and that certainly guiding lites do exist, fleetingly.
Do you know how many times you have repeated the same drivel over and over again? You are the one who is obsessed.

But thank you for proving you believe in a universal common decency that you expect everyone else to know, accept and follow.

breezie has a creative mind---but is reluctant to use it

Not really. The point I was making through him was that no matter what people profess to believe they can't help but to demonstrate - through their actions and words - that they believe in a universal common decency that they expect everyone else to understand, accept and follow.

I use him like the pawn that he is.
you want to call that drivel "arguments"?

desert trash, their madeup documents are their instruments to persecute and victimize the innocent ...

jesus had no misgivings than what they taught and handed down to the truly religious the simple means for remission to the everlasting - learn to never sin again, triumph over evil that is all that is required.

you have no idea

I love your outrage. It's delicious because it proves that everyone - regardless of their religious beliefs - behaves like they believe in a universal law of common decency that they expect everyone else to know, accept and follow.

- and what creativity is there in reading forgeries and fallacies as a means for accomplishing anything of value as recorded throughout history.
They aren't forgeries or fallacies. They are ancient texts written by men. They are what they are.

You still want to execute sassy children, homosexuals and people who wear two kinds of fabric?
ding used to execute sassy children, homosexuals and people
who wear two kinds of fabric? It is a fact that basic morality
develops on Darwinian principles and is hardwired in the human
brain-----<<<< a fact which does lend a modicum of support
to breezie's endless drivel (a tiny little modicum)
