1 they don't know what the word violence actually means or what real violence looks like.

2 there is no such thing as verbal violence. It doesn't not exist. Someone's words are vibrations traveling though the atmosphere and nothing else. They can't hurt you or actually do anything to you. You allow words hurt to hurt your feelings, you can choose to not be as simple, irrational, immature, overly emotional and let words hurt you but that's your choice.

To me, whoever made the false report should be the person(s) who is slapped with whatever is considered a suitable enough punishment.
