WORLEY, Idaho (AP) — A Native American tribe has canceled an Aug. 4 concert by Ted Nugent at its casino.

The Coeur d'Alene Tribe on Monday said that the cancellation of the concert at the casino in the northwest Idaho city of Worley was because of what it called the rocker's "racist and hate-filled remarks."

The tribe says it booked Nugent without realizing he espoused "racist attitudes and views." The tribe did not detail which of Nugent's specific views it opposes.

Since that time both have been interviewed about the incident numerous time and the topic has been covered by the media often and repeatedly. More importantly, while Nugent has claimed to "not remember" he has never actually denied the incident occurred. One would think a denial of the rape accusation would be automatic and firm and something that would be remembered. "I don't recall raping that flat chested little 12 year old girl" just isn't believable. The rape victim remembers her age at the time of the rape because she remembers that she was flat chested and didn't start growing breast until she was 13. Nugent knew he was molesting a child.

OTTAWA — The online political forum, Free Dominion, has shut down after a wholesale defeat in a libel case brought by Ottawa human rights lawyer Richard Warman.

A jury concluded that Warman was maliciously defamed by four commentators on Free Dominion, a website that bills itself as “the voice of principled conservatism.”

Warman has been awarded more than $127,000 in general damages, aggravated damages, punitive damages and court costs because of 41 defamatory statements published on the conservative website in 2007.
