Does this story about Nugent really belong in politics?![]()
Yes, it belongs in politics because of all the hateful, racist things Nugent has said about President Obama and Hillary Clinton - plus the fact that he is a political activist who has campaigned on behalf of various Republican/Tea Party candidates and is also a spokesman for the NRA.
Connect the dots, sparky.
Meh, you grant him more legitimacy than he deserves. Nugent is a musician who happens to be politically active. There are plenty of those.
I just think this particular incident was not political and, since Nugent is not particularly important in politics, putting it here was a bit silly. I'd have gone with Media or Current Events.
Maybe I just think of this as an example of how we politicize everything, even when it doesn't merit it.
