NCAA States They Are Not Responsible for Educating Athletes!

This is 180 degree turnaround from their previous stance. This is why I have always supported paying college athletes while offering them the chance to get an education. These athletes bring in millions for the schools.

I think those that go pro before graduation should have to pay back all scholarship money.
They do when the school makes millions from TV contracts, shoe deals, and spectators.
 
Its not the NCAAs. They regulate sports...not educational content.

Players should get a living expenses stipend. 2K a year.

Their 40k per year education with free room and meals is a pretty good payment.
 
somehow I don't feel sorry for a student athlete that gets a full scholarship, free tutoring, do nothing job drives around in a hot car and raises a family. poor guy

No one asked you to feel sorry for them. You should save that for yourself.
