This thread is an accurate depiction of callous conservatives, racists and authoritarians. Those who hope to pass laws preventing gays and lesbians to marry, women to choose to have a child or not, gay and lesbian patriots to serve in our military, individuals to band together in unions and bargain collectively for wages and benefits, Muslims from building a mosque near the WTC and those who demean the working poor. Yep, I don't like those people. I also don't like terrorists, criminals, demagogues or charlatans. I also dislike but really should pity stupid people, and that includes bripat though I do consider him to be challenged by reality (i.e. insane).

"a political leader who seeks support by appealing to popular desires and prejudices rather than by using rational argument."
He wouldn't have garnered popular support had he said, "we are murderers, we will round up Jews, Gypsy's and other undesirables and murder them".

Why do they hide behind a misnomer label, they're in no way or manner real conservatives? Neo fascists support economic policies which benefit the Corporate America and the power elite. As corporatist's many who support such policies are not in the same class as the rich and powerful; why they do is an interesting question best left to the psychologists.
