Should we ban trade with China too?
Yes.
And then try every free trader as an Economic Rosenberg.

So sorry that your ideology died another death yesterday, JoeBolshevik131.
Thanks public schools and higher education.

No, thank Capitalism killing the golden goose of the middle class.
You see, we had the right balance pre-Reagan. The middle class made a good salary, had nice houses and cars, maybe took vacations every summer, and they spent money with little debt.
Today we have everyone in debt, working for shit wages, the banksters sucking every dollar out of them they can to where even death isn't a release. And then you are wondering why young people are looking at that when they start out with hundreds of thousands of debts in student loans and say, "Hey, Captialism kind of sucks, maybe we ought to give this socialism thing a try."
Now, quite contrary to douchebags like you and Toro who think that not embracing Capitalism is an endorsement of communism, I think socialism doesn't work because once you've told people their needs will be attended to, they have no reason to make an effort. People need something to aspire to.
Of course, the alternative Corporatism offers is "Make a maximum effort, and we will STILL screw you, because there's a bunch of Chinese women who will work 120 to a bathroom to make us rich." (No, seriously, Toro's hero Romney said this at the notorious 47% speech).
I've explained this to yo too many times and you're still not getting it. THERE IS NO CAPITALISM IN AMERICA. YOU ARE CONFUSING CAPITALISM WITH CORPORATISM. JUST LIKE PUBLIC SCHOOLS AND HIGHER EDUCATION.
You fucking flunky, Job.
If the Supreme Court rules the subsidies that people who signed up through the federal exchange are getting is illegal that may very be the beginning of the end for it.I thought you guys were gunna repeal it?Advisors: Mr. President there is a long list of important issues foreign and domestic that require your immediate attention.
Obama: I want to work on Cuba.
Advisors: (stunned silence)
Yes it is not like he shouldn't be working on how to fix Obamacare or anything.
i have been saying that since the mid 90's.....In the end.....the President did the right thingSo we have the Pope and the rest of the world congratulating our President on a historic deal. Republicans outraged
Does it get any better than this?
I don't particularly care about this,in fact agree that the embargo on Cuba is stupid.
BUT, you don't think that letting the President just do as he pleases is a dangerous precedent to set simply because you like what THIS one is doing?
I have ZERO doubt that if right wing President were in office and he said "okay that's it , Congress won't act, so I'm issuing an executive order ending welfare in this country that you and others would be howling in rage. ZERO doubt.
Sooner or later you got to tell Congress to go fuck themselves

Guy, what do you think Corporatism is? It's capitalism on steroids. I'm sorry you don't get this.
You fail at words. Corporatism is nothing like capitalism and the fact you think these two practices are the same tells me everything I need to know about you - you're a fucking moron. Big time. Period.
Thanks public schools and perhaps higher education.
So sorry that your ideology died another death yesterday, JoeBolshevik131.
My idealogy is we should go back to what we had in the 1950's, a vibrant middle class that got a fair share of the work they were doing. .

Sorry, man, I went to Catholic Schools, who were all for Capitalism as long as they gave money to jesus.
What makes me hate Capitalism is 23 years of working for private businesses and all the assclownery you see from these people.
I think it's become clear that Democrats like Obama aren't concerned about human-rights in foreign countries. Only in this country.Obama gave a speech. That's enough for inane liberals.....they have very short attention spans.
that is for sure. With this 'deal' there is no freedom of assembly, no political parties, no open elections, access to the internet is under state security. Just 53 political prisoners freed who will be back in jail next week if they question the regime. Maybe the libs will go back to Cuba and help harvest sugar cane like back in the late 60's.
They didn't think free trade was treason and CEOs should be hung in the 1950s, komrade.
Edit - Communists did though.
How can you hate something you do not even understand? Oh, that's right. You're a fucking moron. Period.
Thanks public schools.

And I think that freedom is a dirty word among Democrats. Freedom is a threat to them.

Guy, you have yet to tell me a difference between "Corporatism" and "Capitalism". YOu just keep insisting there is one. If that's the kind of education you got in Home Skule, it's kind of sad.
Terrible policy. Castro urged the USSR to annihilate the world during Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962. guess we have to open the flood gates for more illegal immigration by people who will bring nothing to the United states but a vote and the need for a welfare check. but, how could we expect anything less from a man who's parents and grandparents were communist.A swap of prisoners and sweeping new policies kick start a new era of relations with Cuba. Considering the policies in force since 1961 have done little, it could lead to more normal relations with the soon-to-be post-Castro Cuba.
