Deep State Plant.
In an unprecedented move, the esteemed medical journal opined that it would be in the best health interest of the nation to vote Trump out of office. Its the first time they have ever done so since it was founded in 1812. Or when Joe Biden was a youngster.

"In much of the country, people simply don't wear masks, largely because our leaders have stated outright that masks are political tools rather than effective infection control measures," the editorial states.

The article continues:

"In a similar vein, the New England Journal of Medicine editorial states, "Truth is neither liberal nor conservative."

The opinion piece notes that the U.S. has performed worse than many other developed nations, such as South Korea that had much higher rates of travel to and from China when the coronavirus initially emerged.

The journal's editors write: "The death rate in this country is more than double that of Canada, exceeds that of Japan, a country with a vulnerable and elderly population, by a factor of almost 50, and even dwarfs the rates in lower-middle-income countries, such as Vietnam, by a factor of almost 2000."

They speak the truth.

Fake stats! By the way, did the cite a study that proves masks do anything because previous studies show masks don't do shit.

Where were they when we were eating ourselves to death? We are the fattest developed nation on Earth and by a wide margin. Maybe you should lose some lbs. Funny how the doctors don’t care as they can prescribe more meds this way and make more money. It’s a giant circle jerk. Fast food companies, liquor companies, prescriptions, doctors. They all make more if we are fat and unhealthy.

So lose some weight and maybe change your screen name, fatty.

Three-day old story.

Use the search function some time.

Well, you could almost say that for states.

NY, NJ, Penn, Conn, Mass are responsible for about 40% of our total deaths (and it was much higher percentage early on). That was Trumps fault ? Utah hardly shut down and had few issues. S.D. never shut down and had few issues (35th in normalized deaths).

So, if these fuckers are looking at the country as a monolith, they are not very bright at all.

Do they have any rebukes of Dr. Fauci who was Trump's lead COVID-19 medical advisor? He got plenty of things wrong early on, no criticism for him?

That is a good question. Seriously.

However unlike the blob, Fauci changed recommendations when new data was presented. As recently as last week, your blob was still talking about miracles.

The proof is in how well he handled the pandemic and his statements

The man who gets tested everyday and he and his people still contacted the virus. The meeting and the rallies where everyone just ignores the possibilities. A fine example of leadership or how not to lead.

The number of false statements he has made.

In the 1920s, Adolf Hitler coined the term “the big lie,” meaning the use of a falsehood so huge no one would believe a leader could dare promote it were it not true

History does repeat itself

Back in Sept he said “We’ve done a phenomenal job,” rating his performance as “an A+”

Yet he and the people that surround him caught the virus even after

Welcome to month seven of 15 days to slow the spread.

Well, nobody thought that the goalposts were going to move themselves.

Correct.

We are about 2 million deaths short on his supported predictions.

How sad that the magazine has decided to take such a strident stand.

History alone will decide who was right and who was wrong on the correct way to approach the tragedy of COVID-19.

Besides the deaths and the destruction of our economy, the saddest thing about COVID-19 has been how cocksure each side of this issue has been (including that magazine).

Here in California, we have a governor who has just told us to wear our masks in restaurants except when we take a bite of food (but then immediately use the mask again as we are chewing). Is he right? I do not know.

I am reading that after this tragedy is past us, many people will be carefully studying how Sweden handled the pandemic.

Unprecedented but appropriate and warranted – given Trump’s reckless, irresponsible disregard for facts, science, and the truth.

And would be in the best interest of the nation as a whole to vote Trump out of office.
