The question is since we are referring to the US are they full of ****t or will they actually do it. Just because they acted in Europe doesn't really mean it will be done here for multiple reasons.
It seems if they did it, they would choose the 4th of July since that is our celebration of Independence what better day than to disrupt one of the very holidays we've all grown up with.
