New rule for Obamacare, Now 2 year grace period and new breaks for Unions

The Obama administration will let people with health insurance plans that don't comply with Affordable Care Act standards keep them through October 2017 if their states allow it, officials said Wednesday in announcing a series of final Obamacare rules.

And the rules gave a financial break to the types of self-insured health plans run by many unions, excluding them for two years from the $63-per-capita "reinsurance contribution" assessed for each enrollee.

Ha.Ha.--never ending--always spinning- --Republicans have nothing to do with Obamacare. Not a single one voted for it--(the first time in the history of this nation)--they were even blocked from attending committee hearings on it. The only one who has had and still has total control over Obamacare--is our health care dictator and chief--Barack Obama.

In California--there were hundreds of thousands of policies cancelled. To add--In California the state insurance commission would not allow any of Obama extensions. So those hundreds of thousands of people are forced onto the exchange in California to purchase new insurance. In my state of Colorado--250,000 policies were cancelled--(overnight.)

The cancellation notices, which began arriving in August, have shocked many consumers in light of President Barack Obama&#8217;s promise that people could keep their plans if they liked them.

Insurer Highmark in Pittsburgh is dropping about 20 percent of its individual market customers, while Independence Blue Cross, the major insurer in Philadelphia, is dropping about 45 percent.

We know for a fact that (to-date)--there has been 6 MILLION polices that have been cancelled due to the Obamacare mandates. It is estimated that if you add in spouses and children that were covered under these plans that Obamacare has added another 12 to 14 million to the uninsured in this country. Individual policy does not mean for each individual. It simply means it is not group insurance or employer sponsored--and these people were responsible enough to go out and pay out of pocket for their own families medical insurance.

This is not going to be good for Democrats. IOW--EVERYONE in this country knows that they were LIED to by Obama and Democrats--and EVERYONE knows someone who has received a letter of cancellation on their "liked" policy.

You have to pay for COBRA---when your employer lays you off or you get fired--and it's not "cheap."

True, BUT, one cannot pay >102% of the cost the employer paid.

https://www.healthcare.gov/ is up and running. If your income is low, you'll get help paying the premium. If your income is really-really low you'll qualify for medicaid and-----and if you have a pre-existing condition, you still qualify.
