Nigeria/Opec Cut Oil Production

The cardinal rule of the oil business is that the oil business hates a warzone. Dubya forgot that when he invaded Iraq.

It hates being called an industry that must be phased out even more.

Particularly when the alternatives aren't up to snuff yet, or in the case of Nuclear, thought of as just as bad.

Speculation is created by uncertainty, and we had that before Ukraine and will have it after.

Why should oil companies invest in upgrades if the goal of the current government is to eliminate them as an industry?

Speculation is caused by speculators.

THIS is why gas prices are going up

Sure.

But they wouldn't have cut production if America hadn't quit exploring in ANWR and other areas, or hadn't shut down the pipeline. Nigeria would be concerned about maintaining market share if America hadn't decided to get rid of Trumpian energy self-sufficiency.

Whatever bullshit reason you think gas prices are astronomical, one thing is for certain!!!!

Bitches

So it's just greedy oil companies, right? Joe Biden isn't to blame..

I explained my position and I did not say a word about the oil companies other than to note that since there are no shortages they have no reason to pump more.

But explaining anything to you is a bit of a waste of time.
