After a shooter in Alexandria left House Majority Whip Steve Scalise in critical condition and wounded four other people, a longtime New Jersey Democratic political strategist responded by introducing the hashtags #HuntRepublicans and #HuntRepublicanCongressmen.

“We are in a war with selfish, foolish & narcissistic rich people,” wrote James Devine on Twitter. “Why is it a shock when things turn violent? #HuntRepublicanCongressmen.”

Devine has run for office, consulted for numerous New Jersey campaigns, and worked in the offices of state lawmakers. He’s also a blogger.

Is the lunatic being supported by a Republican strategist or being echoed by politicians giving speeches?

People on the left are defending the hatred, like the play about Trump's murder, and the rhetoric regarding taking down Republicans is rampant among the talking heads.

You can't compare some letter with the hate openly demonstrated by the left.

Can't even be sure the letter wasn't written by a leftwing nut to keep people riled.

If someone actually intends to kill people, they generally don't tip them off. That is the first sign that this whole story is bogus.

Shame that the Bernie Sanders and Rachel Maddow fan didn't send a letter to warn the Republicans he was going to try and kill them. Shame that the Muslim loons never warn potential victims.
