No dims Going To AIPAC

and that tells us that the Party has moved so far in the direction of anti semitism

Who's 'us', sparky? Cult45 moonbats? The Democrats? Republicans?
According to Gallup, 71% of Americans have a favorable opinion of Israel and 62% support Israel over the Palestinians, so "us" means mainstream America.

Guess again, Sparky.

Gallup poll: Half of Americans back independent Palestine

Gallup poll: Half of Americans back independent Palestine

And that is ALL that matters.
And yet,

"The majority of Americans remain partial toward Israel in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, with 59% saying they sympathize more with the Israelis whereas 21% sympathize more with the Palestinians. While still widespread, sympathy toward Israel is down from 64% in 2018 and marks the lowest percentage favoring Israel since 2009. Meanwhile, the 21% sympathizing more with the Palestinians, statistically unchanged from a year ago, is the highest by one point in Gallup's trend since 2001."

Americans, but Not Liberal Democrats, Mostly Pro-Israel

Clearly Obama's anti Israel attitude has had some effect, but mainstream America still strongly supports Israel.

I could care less about 'Americans partiality to Israel'.

All I care about - in this matter - is the Palestinians getting their own country.

And Americans are now mostly in favor of that...and the sentiment is growing.

Excellent.

Does having a "favorable opinion of Israel" include sending them billions in $$$ and military support and choosing them OVER the United States?

I too have a favorable opinion of Israel.....but I choose support of the United States OVER Israel when a choice must be made.
There is no choice to be made since Israel is among the strongest US allies. As for sending Israel billions of dollars, it is much less than the US spends to support its allies in the Pacific or in Europe, since nearly all the money is in the form of credits to be spent in America, creating tens of thousands of good paying US jobs, increased tax revenues at the local, state and federal levels, and it provides an excess military production capacity that the US can draw on if the need arises. So whereas nearly none of the aid to Israel ever leaves the US economy, the cost of stationing all those tens of thousands of US troops in the Pacific and in Europe creates a flow of US tax dollars out of our economy.

Whenever you find yourself judging Israel by a different standard than you are using to judge other countries, as you are here, you should ask yourself, "Am I anti semite?"

Which makes one wonder why it is that presidential hopefuls are expected to prostrate themselves before the Israel Political Action Committee.

Your 'Motte and Bailey' fallacy is typical of juvenile dimocrap debate tactics.

Nobody thinks anybody should prostrate themselves to anybody else.

It is simple courtesy to a valued Ally in the fight against savagery.

Or do you take the side of those who just recently beheaded 50 Sex Slaves?

You probably do, knowing how dimocrap scum think

Anti semites
So, if someone doesn't want to go to AIPAC it's because they are anti-semitic?

Yep, you aren’t going...anti Semite.

So, I don't particularly give a shit about the Jewish religion. Am I anti-semitic?
Same goes for Islam. Am I anti-muslim?
Same goes for Christianity. Anti-Christian?

Israel is a Country. Jews are a race of people as well as a religion

First, AIPAC is not a political action committee, and second, no one prostrates himself before it. Why do you choose to distort the facts? Ever wonder about that?

You can't really separate the two. A Palestinian state would be a threat to the security of Israel and it will continue to be for the foreseeable future. If the time ever comes when the Palestinians can end their civil war and choose a government that can credibly offer peace to Israel, it may be time to talk about a Palestinians state, but that is unlikely to happen.

What does the acronym AIPAC denote?

American Israel Public Affairs Committee. AIPAC makes no political donations and no political endorsements. It simply provides venues for politicians to show their support for Israel. Why do politicians want to do that? Because the overwhelming majority of Americans support Israel nd have for decades.

The Palestinians have NO military and are flat broke. The Israeli's have by FAR the most powerful military in the Middle East PLUS they have nukes. Only a xenophobe and/or a staggeringly ignorant person would seriously suggest that Palestine would be a threat to Israel.

An independent Palestine is ZERO threat to Israel. They know if they tried to attack it - Israel would wipe them out.

What's next Canada is a threat to Israel? How about the Bahamas? Maybe Iceland?

Tough shit pal...most Americans are for an independent Palestinian state...and that number is only going to grow.

You cannot quote a Gallup poll and then dis one from Gallup a few minutes later...not without seeming like you are not all 'with it' on this subject.

Now that's a shocker. (if this already has a thread, my apologies, please merge it with whatever one is in the rubber room)

But, hey. dims really aren't Anti-Semitic. It's just a coincidence that not one single dim presidential hopeful is going to the most important American Jewish political event of the year.

Will American Jews ever wise up and see what's-what? I doubt it. They've been getting crapped on by dims since FDR lowered their immigration quota in the 30's. No reason to expect them to wise up now.

Top 2020 Democrats snub AIPAC conference with little or no explanation, marking far-left shift on Israel

I ve Been saying they hated Jews since the DNC. Any Jew that still votes Democrat is a traitor.

The three-day conference this year will be headlined by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Vice President Mike Pence, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, and Democratic House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer.

That's an awful lot of no Dims......just sayin.
But not the Democrats who want to be president.

USMB really should mandate a literacy test for our resident dims.

80% of them would fail.

99%

It is simply amazing how often Edgetho gets his shit wrong. Almost 100 percent of the time.

And of course all the other tards drank that piss without checking.

Pro tip: If Edgetho claims something, don't drink his piss!

They promote a pro Israel agenda. If they make no political endorsements then who gives a shit if presidential hopefuls go or not. It doesn't matter.

Israel should stay out of our politics.

https://www.aipac.org/about/how-we-work
AIPAC empowers pro-Israel activists across all ages, religions, races and political parties to be politically engaged and build relationships with members of Congress from both sides of the aisle to promote the U.S.-Israel relationship.

AIPAC is also working to foster the next generation of American pro-Israel leaders, by working on hundreds of college and high school campuses, empowering and educating student activists to answer Israel's detractors and use political involvement to build support for Israel.

No matter, jews are firmly on the democrat plantation
