Possibly silly question: will there be an effective national Dumber party in 2020?
Obama set up a gimme midterm GOP victory for 2018 during his 2012 reelection campaign based on the assumption that his even Dumber successor would have coattails in 2016. This may end up being the biggest miscalculation of political trends since the founding of our third republic in 1788.
Yeah, the Ds will stick around as a coastal party for decades but the Fascist stormtroopers (anti?) fascists are alienating everyone to the right of Pol Pot so 2018 may end up being even worse than the net 10 seat senate loss expected in 2012 or thereabouts.
The WH party getting a pick up at the mid-terms is going to hurt worse than the Trump election. So will the Dumbers even be able to set up a credible presidential run in 2020?
