So, NK leader has two choices.
1) To stand down & not test fire missiles or test a nuke & lose face with his people
2) Test missiles & nukes & make El Cheeto strike. Putting NK leader into a position of strike back (likely SK or Japan, Putting El Cheeto into a war. & if China comes to NK's defense?

N. Korea is a tricky situation. The only way to stop them is to kill them. But then S. Korea pays the price when their missiles strikes their cities. Sooner or later we are going to have to do it. The longer we wait the more damage N. Korea will be able to do before they are obliterated.

Obama engaged with other nations & struck a deal with a trade for food for NK enrichment stopping. It worked for a while until NK started with the missiles & the US stopped the food.

Every one with a freakin brain knows that NK plays this game. They work at a nuclear weapon program & then user it as a chip to get something from the US.

Bush played hardball & NK got their first nuke. Trump is trying to play hardball but NK called his bluff.

Obama could engage other nations on multilateral sanctions, etc. Trump has pissed off all our allies & insulted China.
