By supporting the NRA, their efforts to put more guns in the streets lead to the plague of gun massacres. Had the NRA not had so many Republican legislators in their deep pockets, a raft of common sense, widely supported gun control laws could have been passed, thus stemming the availability of lunatics to get their weapons of choice.

Therefore, those who support the NRA are abetting lunatics to acquire weapons. And they are complicit in gun massacres by their intransigence in the face of the problem.

Firstly, the NRA does not make efforts to "put more guns in the streets" (whatever the fuck that means) they protect the 2nd amendment rights of lawful gun owners. Higher lawful gun ownership over the past 30 years directly coincides and correlates with lower gun crime rates. The more guns in the hands
of law abiding citizens, the lower the crime.

Secondly, according to the "far right' New York Times: "The NRA has donated a paltry $3,533,294 to all current members of Congress since 1998."

So they hardly have the Republicans in their pockets. Even the most wildly inflated figures for NRA political spending has them at $200 million over the past 20 years- is low compared to the $100 million spent by Planned Parenthood since just 2012!

Of course both are second rate pikers compared to the Pharmaceutical Industry - that spent $277 million in 2017 alone!

Here is the democrat Modus Operandi in a nutshell....

1) Someone the government knew was dangerous and should have been arrested, but isn't due to democrat policies, is not put on the prohibited list for gun background checks. Also, the same government the democrats want to give more power, fails to put in the paperwork on known criminals so they can't get guns by passing background checks.

2) The nut jobs that the democrat policies allowed to get guns tell people they are going to shoot up a school...the government agencies ignore all warnings.

3) The nut job finally does go and shoot up a school...a rare event......and before the dead bodies are cold and the blood is dry, the democrat politicians start blaming law abiding gun owners who had nothing to do with the shooting or allowing the guy to get the gun....in fact, the law abiding gun owners supported the current laws that would have allowed the police to stop the mass shooter before he shot up the gun.

4) Democrat journalists working with democrat politicians push gun control laws that would not have done anything to stop the mass shooter....or even regular criminals, using the bodies of dead children as their podium......

5) Democrats get one more concession on gun rights that is meaningless for anything other than making it harder for law abiding people, who had nothing to do with the shooting, to buy and own guns.

Repeat at next tragedy.....
