Today Mr. Obama had an audience with the Pope at the Vatican. Both men had quite different agendas. There is no doubt that some of the beliefs Mr. Obama has are in direct conflict with the doctrines and beliefs of the church, especially on subjects like abortion and social justice. Mr. Obama seemed to be trying hard to shore up his image in the wake of falling approval numbers in the recent polls. The Pope it seems was much more concerned with the poor and under privileged. John Kerry was also in attendance, witch is sort of ironic considering the fact that he is a staunch supporter of a pro life philosophy. Mr. Kerry is also a Catholic and I had to wonder if one of the Pope's Cardinals pulled him aside to speak to him about this philosophy.
Mr. Obama is a man of words, not of action. He enjoys leading from behind, which speaks volumes about why his foreign policy is a complete failure. I personally have never been a big fan of Mr. Obama, whenever any politician lies repeatedly I am smart enough to realize it is generally about self perpetuation and not for the good of our country. Obama Care is an excellent example of this. What I found quite interesting was the difference in the press releases from the Obama camp that was in direct conflict with that of the Pope. This comes as no surprise as Obama is a known secular left wing progressive politician. Obama's idea of social justice is to spread the wealth, basically taking from those who are successful and providing entitlements with no strings attached to those who may be less fortunate. What has always amazed me is that Obama fails to realize that opportunity, education and hard work are the path ways to economic success and stability, not handouts, food stamps, and welfare payments.
Many pundits speak of Obama's lack of leadership skills. But if you actually think about it how could anyone realistically expect Obama to be a strong and decisive leader. He never ran a business, he never balanced a budget, he never had the executive power nor experience to hone any of these skills, until he became our president. He is in fact inept and inexperienced. Most of our allies now view Mr. Obama as an empty suit. His failures in Syria as well as Benghazi point to less than stellar actions on behalf of the most powerful man on the planet. Now as Iran is about to go nuclear we need only look to Obama for his total failure concerning his foreign policies. Appeasement and negotiation with terrorists is never a good idea, you will end up on the short end of the stick so to speak, ever single time.
I wonder how the Pope actually views Mr. Obama? Obama seems to be struggling within himself, I think he is beginning to actually realize what a rookie he actually is on the world stage. I think he finds this troubling and he does not know what to do about it.
My personal view is that Mr. Obama and his administration are corrupt and congenital liars. Obama has proven to me many times that he has no regard nor respect for our Constitution and the law of the land. He reminds me of a small child, he wants what he wants, when he wants it. All of us already know this is not how the real world works. It is a real shame that Obama does not realize this fact.
