Obama & China reached ***SECRET*** Globull Warming Deal

Riiiiiight and China also agreed to stop hacking us and stealing our intellectual property. If anything this is more proof Obama is a complete moron.

He probably said we will move more manufacturing there to reduce our output. You see, that is an easy fix with climate change here and it helps throw more Dems on the rolls to become dependents of Ma and Pa dem.

And then, China, you work on yours.

A pure Luddite dream.

China Installed a Record 12 Gigawatts of Solar in 2013 - Bloomberg

Developers in China installed a record 12 gigawatts of solar panels in 2013, almost matching the total amount of solar power in operation in the U.S., and may exceed that in 2014, according to Bloomberg New Energy Finance.

The power plants were built mostly in China’s sunny, western provinces of Gansu, Xinjiang and Qinghai and make its state-owned power companies the world’s biggest owners of solar assets, the London-based research company said in a statement yesterday.

12 gw of Solar. Impressive. And likely to do better this year. China may exceed their targets.

US Solar Market Grew 41 Had Record Year in 2013 Greentech Media

Continuing its explosive growth, the U.S. solar industry had a record-shattering year in 2013.

According to GTM Research and the Solar Energy Industries Association’sSolar Market Insight Year in Review 2013, photovoltaic installations continued to proliferate, increasing 41 percent over 2012 to reach 4,751 megawatts. In addition, 410 megawatts of concentrating solar power came on-line.

Solar was the second-largest source of new electricity generating capacity in the U.S., exceeded only by natural gas. Additionally, the cost to install solar fell throughout the year, ending the year 15 percent below the mark set at the end of 2012.

4.7 gw, very good, but not compared to the 13 gw of china.

Global wind power capacity grew 12.4 in 2013 led by China and Canada

LONDON:
Cumulative global installed wind power capacity grew 12.4% in 2013 led by China and Canada, according to the Global Wind Energy Council's (GWEC) annual report which was released today.

The GWEC's 2013 market statistics show that globally we reached a total of 318 gigawatts of wind power, marking a rise of almost 200 gigawatts in the past five years.

Growth was led by China, which added a record 16 gigawatts of new capacity by the end of 2013 to total almost 91.5 gigawatts, and Canada, which beat the US to add 1.6 gigawatts in 2013.

China added 16 gw of wind in 2013. That, added to the 13 gw of solar, is a pretty convincing commitment to non-polluting energy.

Congress will have to be consulted. No deal can be done till that occurs. Everything has to go through Congress. But of course this current President is an arrogant asshole, so he just assumes the deal is done because he says so. The reality is, this deal could be D.O.A.

Hopefully.

Wow, so much stupid and so little time. Coal has been and always will be our primary source of energy. How did you miss that?

I know him and his followers believe it's a done-deal, but it's actually not. We'll see what Congress has to say about it.
