So actually how many hourly workers on federal contracts will qualify for the minimum wage increase?
If 5.2% of all hourly paid are minimum wage earners, then 5.2% of the 2 million workers on federal contracts would be 104,000 people!

Less then 104,000 people will be affected!
And guess what... these people are paid what their skill sets require.

Doesn't make any difference because Americans will pay their increased minimum wage AND the government will want to raise taxes to cover it.
Then the poverty level will be raised and the same majority of minimum wage earners i.e. (under 24 low skill required) will still qualify for SNAP.

Actually what may happen is more robotics taking minimum wage jobs!
Case in point.
Janitors sweeping... replaced with robotic sweepers -- cost $300 one time.
Dish washers --- Automatic cost one time $6,000.. equal to adding for ONE dishwasher minimum wage increase of $5,720!
Guess what... above people now on unemployment.. and get paid without working! Way to go Obama!
100,000 more people on unemployment but still getting paid!
