Former President Obama was taken to task on social media Sunday after he gave a speech describing himself, as well as other Democrats, as ‘courageous’ for passing the Affordable Health Care Act, then suggesting that Congress should display the same ‘courage’ to save the bill.

Obama Slammed For Saying Obamacare Was ‘Courageous’
==========================================================================

the loser was slammed lmao good the only ones who support probably have no brain left of their own.

Meanwhile the GOP passed a hc bill making sure you old fuckers will pay 5 times more than you do now. And you cheer because.....not sure really but you seem to like getting fucked in the ass without even a dinner date

Nixon was the courageous one, he was talking about this during his administration. What, your TV not tell ya that?

Obamacare would have hiked the price of healthcare for a family of 4 from a whopping $17,000 a year, to an unobtainable $34,000 a year. But the insurance companies are killing Obamacare by opting out anyway, so..

Wouldn't it be nice if the members of the Senate sat down and worked together to give us the best health care system on earth? We need to repeal the obstructionist state of mind and replace it with a cooperative group of men and woman working on our behalf instead of their own. I am sick to death of the infantile tug of war.

Love to see your data on those numbers.

After him came H. Clinton. Too bad Nixons plan didn't come about, but Kennedy wanted universal care back then.

So yes Obama and the Dems behind him were very courageous.

Actually, currently, insurance companies can charge up to 3 times more for older people but now they can charge 5 times more

Paul Ryan said that Republicans promised to repeal & replace & they did that.

This is chickenshit politics. The passed something. Too bad it was a shit bill instead of having the courage to wait until they had a good plan.

Forbes:
The Milliman Medical Index (MMI) was released earlier today, and like every year since 2001, the index was up. This year’s MMI–which calculates the total cost of employer-sponsored PPO coverage for an average American family of four–is $25,826.

Gov. Mark Dayton held a news conference to discuss his decision to ask for a special session to deal with soaring health insurance rates on Friday, October 21, 2016, in St. Paul.

Mary Enger and her husband could see their annual out-of-pocket health insurance costs jump next year to more than $33,000 — and that’s if they’re lucky.
Premium hikes, coverage limits frustrate insurance shoppers

Obamacare is horribly expensive

It's no secret that Obamacare is imploding.

Curb costs dramatically while opening access and affordability with a single payer medicare style plan the which health insurance companies must bid their products and services competitively.

The percentage increase in the MMI is at its lowest rate ever. However, even at 4.7%, which is the lowest annual increase since we first measured the MMI in 2001, the rate of increase is still well above growth in the consumer price index (CPI) for medical services,2 and far surpasses the average 2% annual increase in median household income between 2004 and 2014.3 More than ever before, health insurance is a critical component of a family’s financial security, and yet it continues to become less and less affordable.

A good report for the ACA, time to get rid of insurance companies though.
