Either way, no one has stopped anything as of yet, it is just a bunch of empty posturing so come back to and complain when someone that is not this vague ‘some GOP lawmakers’ and is more than just threats and we can talk.

As a side note: should a lawmaker not use a filibuster if they feel a law is unconstitutional? Anyone have any feelings on this one way or the other. I am not really sure tbh.

Right now, if there were a nationwide referendum on background checks on all gun sales, public and private, it would win resoundingly. Were there a referendum on magazine size, and special laws on military type weapons, it would pass. The 'Conservatives' know this, and are doing everything they can to keep anything like this off the ballot in any state or in the nation.
