Why is it the fault of the GOP that even the democrat controlled senate can't pass the bullshit these idiots want?

Obama's cult members will buy into anything the idiot says

Fuck you and your dear leader.
Why not vote on it and see where everyone stands?
Why not vote on it and see where everyone stands?
much better to have obama "warn" the gop and look like a badass
btw...i'm sure you have no problem with holding up voting on something you're against....
What are Republicans afraid of?
Afraid to show they support the NRA? Why won't they just vote on it if they feel so strongly? Why hide behind a filibuster?

You mean like how the dems allowed votes on Judges during Bush's years? Like that?

If thats the case....Why not let it come to a vote?

No, the question is what are Democrats afraid of? Democrats are the ones holding things up, Harry Reid in the Senate, etc. This is a war within the Dem side, with many pro gun Dems facing re-election next year. It isn't about the GOP.
Why not vote on it and see where everyone stands?
There's the problem. Lots of Democrats got elected from pro gun areas and cannot tell their constituents they voted for that crap. That's why you're not seeing a straight vote on it.What are Republicans afraid of?

Let the Republicans tell their constituents that they stood up for Second Amendment Rights
Let the Democrats tell their constituents that they voted for background checks and bans on Ar-15s and large capacity magazines
Then let the chips fall where they may
Bring it to a vote

Thank Harry Reid for that face saving.

a majority of the voters in california voted to ban gay marriage. why are you willing to accept the majority view on some issues and not others?

No problem. You do realize that this legislation is DOA though, right? Not just from the right either. There are many on the left that will not pass gun control when push comes to shove.
Either way, no one has stopped anything as of yet, it is just a bunch of empty posturing so come back to and complain when someone that is not this vague some GOP lawmakers and is more than just threats and we can talk.
As a side note: should a lawmaker not use a filibuster if they feel a law is unconstitutional? Anyone have any feelings on this one way or the other. I am not really sure tbh.

Obama's first law of gun control legislation: When you have the facts on your side, argue the facts. When you have the law on your side, argue the law. When you have neither, stage a shooting at an elementary school.
Why not vote on it and see where everyone stands?
how about voting on abortion?
