can't wait for heads to literally start rolling

are you really calling for a violent civil war in this country?
Take comfort in one thing if this does happen and we have our own version of Robespierre revealed: Robespierre was guillotined too along with all his supporters by Napoleon, the man who eventually replaced all the revolutionaries by their own tactics.

It's pale and poor comfort, but it should remain comfort none the less those that spawn this go too with very surprised looks on their face.

Nope. Robespierre was guilliontined by his very own people.

Robespierre, Leader French Revolution - Timeline Index

In the Thermidor of Revolutionary calendar's Year Two, he was executed by spiteful colleagues.

The left idolizes the French Revolution. No doubt leftists walk around all day humming "The Song of Angry Men". That's because they have absolutely no idea of its history.

My guess is that conservatives are way more heavily armed than the liberals. I could be wrong on this but I think I'm right, its a total guess though.

I don't think this type of "heads rolling" talk is appropriate at all.

Liberals rely on the police they malign so regularly to protect them if threats arise. Conservatives on the other hand are much more likely to protect themselves, all the while supporting the police. Rather ironic...isn't it?

I am just saying that IF heads roll, those screaming for them will be very disappointed in WHICH heads roll and how fast and who pulls the lever.

Yeah, look at all the great things Pol Pot did for his people....

Of course, it did give Jello Biafra good material and a pretty fun song.

It would be if there were any truth to it. Are you "old style" enough to remember the late 1960s/early 1970s? If so, you know perfectly well that the left is not necessarily nonviolent.

So far, OWS has been nonviolent, though. In this country, nonviolent civil disobedience usually works better than attempts at violent insurgency, regardless of who does them.

So you been to school
For a year or two
And you know you've seen it all
In daddy's car
Thinkin' you'll go far
Back east your type don't crawl

Play ethnicky jazz
To parade your snazz
On your five grand stereo
Braggin' that you know
How the ******* feel cold
And the slums got so much soul

It's time to taste what you most fear
Right Guard will not help you here
Brace yourself, my dear:

It's a holiday on Wall Street
It's tough, kid, but it's life
It's a holiday on Wall Street
Don't forget to pack a wife

You're a star-belly sneech
You suck like a leach
You want everyone to act like you
Kiss ass while you bitch
So you can get rich
But your boss gets richer off you

Well you'll work harder
With a gun in your back
For a bowl of rice a day
Slave for soldiers
Till you starve
Then your head is skewered on a stake

Now you can go where people are one
Now you can go where they get things done
What you need, my son:.

Is a holiday on Wall Street
Where people dress in black
A holiday on Wall Street
Where you'll kiss ass or crack

BHO, BHO, BHO, BHO, BHO, [etc]

And it's a holiday on Wall Street
Where you'll do what you're told
A holiday on Wall Street
Where the slums got so much soul

That is a given. Something best remembered when tempers and emotions flare. People's Lives and Well Being will depend on that.

The protest movement pretty much ended with Kent State. An regrettable incident that is sorely in need of repetition.

This is not 1968. The mood of the public is nasty. The people are fed up. The left is convinced that the people are fed up with corporations, capitalisim and banks. They are wrong. The people are fed up with socialism. They are fed up with getting their pockets picked to give to an INDOLENT poor.

There have been successful Protests and Demonstrations Post 1960's.
This current one may even be failing in knowing why it is being staged. That is poor planning and structure. It's message is all over the map both literally and figuratively. I think that if the Majority knew for sure what Others are doing in their Name, they would go home, shower, sleep, and move on. :eusa_whistle:

Not bigrednec, he lies in wait at his front door every night surrounded by his arsenal, just in case the police or the army turn up...ironic eh?

I'd suggest that the Tea Party protests at the other end of the political spectrum were similarly confused.
'Less Government, Less Taxes'...then what?
However they were better organised and funded.

I think the Tea Party is Diverse, not confused. It isn't Lock Step either, and not interested in censoring people who need to speak their minds. I don't see the Tea Party doing Demonstrations or Civil Disobedience either. If It did, it would know why. Nice try though.

No demonstrations? Are you sure?

Anyway, I concede, they're much more civil, they just turn up to town meetings and scream at the speaker while thrusting photos of him with Hitler moustaches drawn on it.

They Rally allot. Many Independent Groups. Protests? Not much. The Media is comparing this current group to the Tea Party. The Tea Party is not calling for Revolution or overthrowing the Powers that be, so, in that sense, the Press is out in La La Land.

Sometimes the Media is like this.....

They start with a fuzzy concept and just run with it. Personally I think these Guy's are more credible and fun.
