Cohen is a convicted liar. What he says isn't proof of anything without corroboration.

He is. Trump has been named as 'individual 1', he's almost an unindicted co-conspirator who in the past through his business practices has shown not to be a trustworthy individual. Since his campaign and presidency he has also been caught in many well documented lies. So, I guess the solution would be to go through the paperwork, no?
