Ohio GOP Wants To Use $400 Million In Obamacare Medicaid Savings To Cut Taxes For The Rich | ThinkProgress
So, Ohio's recent decision to take part in the expansion of medicaid it turns out saves the state about $400 million. The ohio GOP-controlled state legislature decides that the best way to spend savings from a federal program is to...give rich people a tax break!! yawhoo!
But to cover up their plot they point out that the tax breaks are for everyone...only not mentioning the poorest 20% will in essence recieve $1 extra dollar each year on average, meanwhile the richest 1% get $1,437 each year on average.
Gee...where do these stereotypes of Republicans come from????
