Americans (all of them, it seems) use words such as socialist, leftist, far-left, extreme-left, Marxist, etc. as if they pull the terms out of the assholes on a rainy day with their brains dripping out of their ears. I have been to many socialist and communist nations during the days when they were and the US. doesn't even score. The leaders of today's Democratic party are murderous "take the money and run" bastards & snake oil salesmen ... but they ain't socialists. They are decadent Westerners plain and simple. Real Socialists are certainly laughing at you.

I have typed this before because I saw some article some years ago. Weare spending now I suppose around 35 billion dollars a year on HIV/AIDS at the Federal level. The state, city, local and regional taxing governments along with anything hidden in private insurances spend resources on this also. On TV we have endless commercials on medicines for this. While we see them promoting relationships that cause this disease or what it is ...a plague. That is socialism. The taxpayers are on the hook for this. Without behaviors would change and/or there would be many deaths with people dying in agony. And as Obama said..."they will take the pain pill". Socialism.

The right wing lemmings for decades have campaigned on the theme that democrats want to usher in socialism. Well, when? After 8 years of Clinton, 8 years of Obama, 4 years of Biden, when does the socialism kick in and what does it look like specifically when it comes to programs?

Biden's largest achievements are:

• Infrastructure Bill not socialism and disproportionately benefited rural America
• CHIPS Bill not socialism and is supporting capitalist growth of manufacturing
• PACT act - veteran healthcare is caring for vets socialism?
• American Rescue Plan - not socialism and saved the capital markets and the small business engine of America setting it up to be the healthiest in the world

Not exactly the socialist list of dream policies. Even Obama's Affordable Care Act which pools risk is wildly popular in America and used in Red States to a higher degree than Blue States. In fact only one congressman proposed ending it in the last midterm elections. The rest of Republicans have moved on.

When will I see the socialism?

There is global concern about the U.S debt, including warnings from the IMF.

If America doesn't address this, socialism will be enacted under conditions of hyper inflation. This does not end well.

I always read of people in forums who are above and beyond the rest of the human scum. So, I will say that as someone who went to Parochial School, you learned or were thrown out. It does not make you a genius, that is for sure. It just means they got closer to the most out of you. What they lacked is at the time, the saying was that Liberal Arts leaning was better. I disagree now. Also at the time Parochial high Schools were All boys or All girls. Which was good for education and not so good for socializing and improving relationships if needed.
