As MOST GOPers should.........but will NOT, trying to pick the President is a joke. I lean more towards who we can get elected.

GOPer's can want, what they want. But, the question really is, what is it you DO NOT want! Are they willing to put up a probable LOSER because they want him, or are they willing to accept a probable LESS THAN, to insure the whole country doesn't go off the rails?

This IS the question of 2024!
There is a belief and some evidence that RINOS do not win or find the races very tough. A conservative I do not know. Trump just had common sense polices. We still need them and to enact them into practice. The 21st century is different as we have move far left compared to the end of the 20th century.

Obviously Pence of those three, as the only one provably level headed enough (by word and deed) not to go with overthrow of the government, for personal advantage or desires of MAGA crowd for fun and profit.
Pence is an unelectable far right wing religious nut job

Abortion is practically illegal, affirmative action is no more, and right wing nut jobs stormed the Capitol and you say we've moved farther left? You are crazy.

You lose credibility with that language. Demanding accountability is not "overthrowing the government."

Try to be a little rational
The Trump cult thinks demanding accountability, is overthrowing the government.

You are bloviating. These things were won. It is streamlining them that needs to be done. In reality at the capitol building, it was a bunch of sober people who were partying. Progs push this because the sucking of the government pig tits must continue. Pelosi has had some questions of her allegiance to the nation. All of it not questioned. She is corrupted. Get it. She is a criminal. She does not believe in what she pushes because she abuses those things.

Republicans have a decision to make

Do they nominate the guy who defines their party or someone who has a chance to defeat Biden?

Trump is unelectable. Too large a percentage of voters that absolutely refuse to consider him.

DeSantis used to look like Trump without the baggage. As he has had public exposure, his personal demons are betraying him……petty and vindictive.

Pence is Vanilla. Plain and uninspiring but he has experience and would make a palatable Republican in the General Election. He is capable of winning swing states

Nikki Haley is pleasant, likable without that mean streak many Republican Women have. She has the ability to appeal to moderates and independents.

The rest of the Republicans are in it for the exposure and in Christie’s case….in it to attack Trump

Trump is unelectable.
That was said about Trump in 2016, yet he won.

The election was stolen from Trump in 2020 and Trump won’t let that happen again in 2024.

You’re inferring that Republicans will use logic, reason, and facts to determine their nominee for 2024 where for Republicans nominating a presidential candidate is visceral – devoid of logic, reason, and facts.

For Republicans beating President Biden isn’t enough – it must be Trump who beats President Biden – and in doing so realizing revenge and vindication from having the election stolen from Trump in 2020.

Only Trump understands the true Republican mission; only Trump can accomplish what Republicans want to see accomplished – something neither DeSantis nor Pence can do.
