It has apparently invigorated America. There are those who never voted before who voted for Trump. My wife who seldom even pays attention supported Trump the whole cycle even when I said "boy that Trump can be an ass."

Even the left wing which rails against the system since their candidate didn't win are excited.

This election will be written into history books like no other. It will even exceed that of the first black president. It shows what a person can do against all odds. And you can't say it was done because he is rich, Hillary far out spent him. You can't say he was the establishment's darling, we all know that was Hillary. All that can be said is that America rose and and said, "can you hear me now?" Even if Hillary wins the popular vote that is not how the system works. It would be like saying she won in Bingo with the better poker hand.

Can anyone, anyone believe that if Hillary were to have been elected that anyone would have really, REALLY been excited either way?

Now is the time to come together, I just hope Trump doesn't blow it.

I agree this election will be written into the history books like no other, but exactly HOW it will be written is TBA. Let me tell you, I've worked my entire life, and nobody, I mean nobody has launched an attack on working people worse than DumBama. I had health insurance coverage my entire life until he launched Commie Care. My employer used that as a way to get out of providing us that benefit. So me and millions of my fellow blue collar workers either have no insurance or insurance that sucks every last dime out of your pocket at the end of the month. More than that is it's crap insurance that covers very little.

I have to part company a little bit. Bill Clinton destroyed the middle class when he signed NAFTA and his other "free" trade BS. He also, I believe, is the last president to reform welfare. Obama just followed suit.

I've heard several interviews with people that worked with Trump in the past. They say he's nothing like he appears to be when it comes to business.

When problems came up and even the best in the business said something was impossible, Trump looked at the problem as a challenge, and found a way to get past the impossible. He found a way to get past loading zones, regulations, getting concrete into the city of New York and dealing with other investors.

They said he asks a lot of questions--not give a lot of orders. He is eager to learn anything to get the job done.

In spite of NAFTA I still did quite well. The economy was booming thanks to the tech era, and people had money to spend.

With Commie Care, we no longer have that residual money to spend. Now I will have to live nearly check to check. I'm much worse off today than I was under Clinton. And just a side note: Clinton was forced to sign welfare reform. Prior to that, he vetoed it twice.
