Senate shelves gun bill after defeats - First Read

This is good news. The House does not have to vote against a stupid bill. The President and his supporters are wrong, this issue was not what they claimed and there is no broad support to grab guns in this Country.

Lying about the Agenda did them in. Lying about what was in their bills did them in. Lying about what was in the Amendments did them in.

They want background checks write a bill that addresses JUST that and don't load it with crap to deny rights like they did.

There never was much support in Congress for new gun control legislation. The whole thing was doomed to failure at the start and everybody knew it, including the President and the NRA.

All it's amounted to is grandstanding by both parties.
